Luye Red Oolong

A heavily oxidized tea from Taidong, this Red Oolong is a real treat.  Rich, sweet rose and other floral flavors pour out of its earthy red tones. Please keep in mind that this tea is not roasted! The flavor and color comes from a longer oxidization process than most other oolongs. The perfect mix of black and oolong teas!

Fine Tea

Enjoyed immensely this red oolong with heavy oxidation. Rich and sweet and organically grown. I will be ordering more of this wonderful tea.

Excellent tea, speedy inexpensive delivery

Red oolong is something new for me, had never heard of it until recently when I was reading some random article about woman-owned tea farms). This tea is good. Like a sophisticated lizhihong if that means anything to you. Great discovery.

Sweet Rose and Honey, it was love at first sip. It has become my go-to tea each night, and I'm ordering me another bag!

A must have.

Roasty with some earthern notes supplemented by a floral almost honey-like sweetness. Easy to drink but makes you come back for more. Works great both for western brewing and in a gaiwan. Stands up quite well to multiple infusions without getting bitter at all.
