I now have two approx 250 ml wood-fired Hualien teapots. Both are nicely crafted, and the lids fit well. This rating applies to both pots. After the pots' arrival, I filled them with boiling water and allowed them to soak, draining the water daily, for a couple of weeks. No particular reason, other than it seemed like a good idea at the time. One pot is dedicated to oolong one and the other to white tea, and white tea cake, and old-growth Sheng. I have not been using the pots long enough to determine what affect their continued use might have on the teas to which they are dedicated, but I am pleased to say that both perform nicely, particularly in the case of a delicate oolong.
