High Mountain Four Seasons Oolong
This tea is something special from our friends on Jade Mountain. Its recognizable '4 Seasons' floral is both stronger and smoother than lower elevation teas, the strong vegetal of the cultivar is muted, and there is a hint of fruit in the soft, lingering aftertaste. We have never had a 4 Seasons Oolong like it on the site before!
It is extremely rare to find the 4 Seasons Oolong Cultivar grown above 1000m in altitude, and even rarer to find one grown fully organic. Usually grown for its generous harvests, the 4 Seasons Cultivar does not do well in the colder temperatures of the higher elevations. After having this one, we hope that more farmers try to experiment with this cultivar on higher mountains.
This tea is a stellar expression of the 4 Seasons Oolong cultivar and those that are a fan of the tea will love it!
