Chi Lai Mountain Oolong (Fall Pick)
The High Mountains of Taiwan have many growing regions and this one is relatively new. Perched on the west facing side of the Chi Lai Mountain Range, the taste of this terroir is different than its other high mountain oolong cousins.
The fall pick of this tea has a rich vegetal upfront with a soft, sweet/tart and lingering aftertaste with a clean smooth transition. It is fun to count the seconds between the first sip and the beginning of the follow through flavors. They are very different!
This is another great value tea for those that enjoy the Fall season of high mountain oolongs. From the same garden as the Chi Lai High Mountain Black Tea, we are happy to keep supporting the younger generation of Taiwanese Tea Farmers.
