Organic Three Shades of Ba Xian Oolong

**The 2024 winter version of this tea is one of the best we have had. It's soft creamy tropical fruit florals are so unique and hard to find in Taiwanese tea!**

Somewhere between a green, white, and oolong, this soft and forgiving tea is a lot of fun for those that like to experiment with brewing parameters. The unique half white/half oolong processing of this tea gives the first steeps give up a fresh grass note before moving to a subtle sweet white tea style of flavor before becoming full on rich yellow fruit floral as the steeps progress. And progress they do! Due to the unique processing, this tea keeps brewing for many, many steeps!

Rarely grown in Taiwan, Ba Xian(Eight Immortals) cultivar is a fun departure from the regular Taiwanese cultivars. Creamy, sweet floral and and very 'yellow' this tea gives a unique twist to the classic Chinese cultivar!

Sugary Sweet

This tea produces some of the best 'sugary sweet' notes I've ever experienced in an oolong. I will most definitely have to get more of this!

A good one

Up there with Old Master Dong Ding I think. Only ordered 10g to try first, so I’m gonna need to buy some more next time.

Wait for it!!

This tea delivers some really wonderful vegetal notes a few seconds in, so, don’t let the wait fool you.

SO interesting. Smooth and creamy

Certainly one of the most unique tea’s I’ve ever tried. Notes of yellow squash, stonefruit, with a touch of fresh grass. Not a grassy/vegetal upfront taste, though. Absolutely worth trying.
