Honorable Mention Prize
Honey Fragrance Black Tea
Bug bitten, delicately picked, exquisitely processed and then entered into the annual Honey Fragrance Black Tea Competition, a Honorable Mention finish seems a little low in our opinion. Our opinion is a little biased however, as this gorgeous 'tips only' tea was made by one of our best friends here in Hualien. In any case, its smooth, rich honey/malt/red floral flavor is undeniably beautiful. Landing somewhere between a top Eastern Beauty and High Mountain Black, the quality and care put into the making of this rare tea is exceptional.
Competition winners sell at a premium and this one is no exception. We are offering this tea in three amounts: a normal 25g bag, a beautiful sealed tube with a 75g sealed bag of tea inside, and the whole, beautiful box with two tubes of 75g of tea each and tasting notes(in Chinese).
If this batch of teas sells out we will try to bring in various competition winners from all over Taiwan. If you get some, please let us know what you think!
