Organic Winter Jade Mountain Oolong
Floral, crisp and smooth, this year's Winter Jade Oolong is another winner from our Tea Master friend. The mountains just outside of Jade Mountain National Park have become an up and coming tea-growing region of Taiwan. It is also an area that does not have a lot of organic agriculture, which is why we were so happy to find a rare certified organic garden in the area!
This easy-to-brew tea is subtle, soft, deep and a great expression of the Jade Mountain terroir. Full greenish florals, medium thick mouthfeel and a clear sweet/tart fruit aftertaste have made this one a favorite to offer guests. It is an amazing value for the quality!
We have been blown away by the exceptional teas being produced from this garden as we keep buying more of them! Jade Mountain Red and Black Jade are two other teas masterly crafted from this garden and you can get them in a set (Here) if you want to taste the impact oxidization has on the material from the same plants. We have also included this in our 4 Mountains of Oolong Sample Set.
