Pear Mountain (Lishan) Oolong

Winter Pick

Freshly picked, processed and ready to go this Winter Pear Mountain is better than last years. Rich, thick, floral and sweet it is a great example of why the preference for winter time teas come in second only to the first picks of the spring. Grown at 2000m above sea level on an western facing slope, this years winter harvest season had perfect weather and you can tell from the brew of this easy to steep crowd pleaser of a tea.

This tea is the winter pick so the flavors are stronger, more floral and a touch more vegetal than the other seasons. All three seasons are slightly different but all three seasons have the same underlying greatness. Preferences as to the best are your own. We will be adding a three season sampler to the site soon!

Excellent Lishan

I got my shipment of teas and bought a sample of all the Pear Mountain high mountain oolongs. Excellent Lishans. Right now, I'm drinking this winter one and I love it. Creamy, floral, green, goodness, exactly as advertised. My favorite, at least for the next 20 minutes until I rip into something else in my package.

Great High Mountain Oolong

I've tried the spring, fall and winter versions of this tea
there are definitely little differences between them, so if you like variations on a theme of a great tea definitely get all
otherwise you can just pick one, they are all excellent
