Peach Garden Milk Baozhong

This non-assuming and easy-to-brew Baozhong is a great daily drinker for those that like the Taiwanese Green Oolong Genre. Simple, forgiving and richly familiar, it is a great example of the soft vegetal and smooth sweetness Taiwanese Green Oolongs are so famous for. We found this tea at a simple and unassuming multi-generational tea garden in Taoyuan on the border of more famous tea regions. The cheap cost comes from the fact that this place is anti-famous and most tea grown in the area is low quality agrochemical slathered slop produced for the beverage industry. The teas produced at this garden are clean, humbly solid and 'standard', which makes them a great choice for value and a consistent 'daily drinker' type of experience. We are happy to have found this garden and be able to share clean teas at this price point.

Recommend Brewing Style:

Gong Fu Style: 3-5g per 100ml, ~100C water, 45 second to one minute steeps in gaiwan. Lasts 3-4 steeps.

Western Style: 3g per 100ml, ~100C water for 2-3 minutes. Lasts 2-3 steeps.

Great For Grandpa Style as well! Just throw some in a mug, add hot water and walk away. Add more hot water as you drink. It can be drunk all day.
