This silky smooth, fragrantly sweet oolong caught us off guard. While strong on the first steep, this tea quickly mellows out to one of the most florally smooth and fragrant teas we have on the site. Almost finished tea is mixed with freshly picked gardenia flowers and gently dried over two days to make this wonderful tea.
Gardenia flowers have been used as medicine, for perfume and placed into the lapels of gangsters but we think it is best made into a tea. Especially one as smooth as this. We are excited to bring it into the shop!

The Most Rich-Tasting Gardenia Oolong Ever!
I have fallen in love with this tea. I bought it during the off season and it tastes so rich and floral! The leaves also provide many servings for the small quantities you use. 100% the best Gardenia tea I have ever had, among the many I have tried.

a surprising new approach to oolong
I've tried other flower oolongs before, but this one caught me by surprise. It hits with a very unique fermented fruit flavor like peach wine and a gentle, lingering sweetness. A light and easy drink even among green oolongs.

A nice milky floral oolong
There are some discrepancies in the website's description and the bag. The bag says it is QinXin cultivar while the webpage says Jinxian. Also, the bag says 35% oxidation while the webpage says 25%. I would definitely lean towards the website being correct given this tea's buttery mouth feel. Very reminiscent of a milk oolong, but with an extra floral kick.
