Competition Honey Black Oolong
For fans of the sweet dark oolong genre, this one is for you. Found on a recent visit to our friends in Luye, we bought all they had. The flavor of this batch of tea is similar to our best seller Honey Black Oolong, only more so. The honey sweet is stronger and creamier, the flavors more complex and the finish lasts longer. Think 'Eastern Beauty dipped in sweet molasses' type of flavors.
We think it was worth more than Honorable Mention in the local competition but any higher on the podium and we would have had to pay a lot more for it. Last's years version of this tea won 3rd place so this year's tea is a little cheaper!
(As a side note for those that have been with us since the beginning, this tea is very similar to the first ever Honey Black Oolong we had on the site back in 2018, which was also a competition winner funny enough...)
**Like all our teas, there are no added flavors, colors or chemicals in this tea. All flavors are completely natural and chemical-free!**
