Jasmine Green Oolong

A total jasmine bomb of a green oolong, it is a must try for those who love this classic genre. Made by our friends in Nantou from the 4 Seasons Oolong cultivar and organic Jasmine flowers, it is oxidized a touch more than the usual Jasmine Green Tea to make it smooth and forgiving to brew. Strong, warm, creamy Jasmine floral in the upfront gives way to a rich green oolong in the aftertaste without the unpleasant bitterness and astringency so common in this style of tea.

**The leaves and stems of this one are more broken up than the usual Taiwanese oolong to make them to absorb the natural Jasmine scent. Keep that in mind when choosing your brewing vessel.

Recommend Brewing Style:
Gong Fu Style: 3-5g per 100ml, ~95C water, 45 second to one minute steeps in gaiwan. Lasts 3-4 steeps.
Western Style: 3g per 100ml, ~95C water for 2-3 minutes. Lasts 2-3 steeps.
Great with cold brew as well! 3g per 500ml of water and just throw it in the fridge overnight.
