Honey Fragrance Black Tea
Bug bitten, delicately picked and exquisitely processed, we picked up this batch of Honey Fragrance Black in the spring of 2025. After the June harvest and before the tea were sent off to the competitions we got to sample the year's production and bought as much of this day's pick as we could, which wasn't very much! Most of the batch was then placed in the year's competition where it got second place. In any case, its smooth, rich honey/malt/red floral flavor is undeniably beautiful. Landing somewhere between a top Eastern Beauty and High Mountain Black, the quality and care put into the making of these competition teas is exceptional.
