On the first infusion I get a light crisp Granny Smith apple aftertaste but not tart. On the second infusion it becomes slightly more dense and has
more vegetal/floral notes. I get a floral brightness on my pallet. I get notes of lilies and jasmine. The floral aroma and tastes lingers on your senses. It’s really quite a lovely experience. Make sure not to over steep these leaves or you will get bitterness.
I received a 15g sample in the “Taste of Winter” Teaeducation Subscription Box. Flavors are exactly as described: bright minerality coupled with a buttery sweetness that smells as good as it tastes. I was able to push it to 7 steeps. Another great, affordable discovery from Mountain Stream Teas!
