This set is a great one if you want to understand how seasons effect the taste of high mountain Taiwanese oolongs. From the soft round florals of the spring, to the deeper, greener flavors of the winter picks to the strange and wonderful 'cabbage floral' of the snow pick, each season's examples in this set are easy to pick out!
Included are three teas from the same tea plants, produced by the same tea master, in the same way, in the exact same place. The only difference is the season!
While this garden uses conventional farming practices, it is not by choice. Surrounded on all side by conventional tea gardens this farmer does not have much chance of ever getting this garden certified organic. He limits the use of agrochemicals in this garden drastically, however, and has gardens in other areas that are fully regenerative.
