** We are currently taking fully refundable deposits for Taiwanese Clay Tea Pots. We expect them to be finished and able for shipping in 1.5 - 3 months!**
After years of searching we have finally found some tea ware deserving space on the Mountain Stream Teas website. We couldn’t be happier!
Made from the clay on which the studio is built, only Master Zhuang uses this earth to make pottery. The clay material is meticulously prepared on site and is absolutely unique. The site was used in the past to make bricks in the Japanese era and has only recently begun to be used again. All works are unglazed and one of a kind.
How to order one? Follow these steps:
Pay the fully refundable deposit for a handmade Taiwanese Clay Teapot($25USD)
Choose the general style and size you would prefer.

Priority for teapot choice will be given in order of received deposits for that particular style. (First deposits get first picks)
We will be commissioning works based on your choices of style and size and we will be taking you along as they get made. Look forward to lots of content of the process. We will try to be there to help with the wood firing as well!
Costs for the teapots will be $98 (plus shipping) for electric fired pots and $149 (Plus shipping) for the wood fired pots. Shipping is estimated to be in the range of $20-40 depending on size and country to be shipped to.
In general, the electric fired pots are redder and the wood fired posts can be a mix of earthy colors from light red, to granite blue and black. Electric fired pots are more flavor neutral and wood fired pots become tuned to the tea that you drink daily. More information in the video below!
