A powerful tea from our partner farm on Alishan, this tea has the unique taste of the sweet bug bites of the green leaf hopper over a low-medium roast. Quite rare in higher elevation teas, when it does happen the taste is a rich and thick honey sweetness that is hard to forget! We have had a few teas like this in the past from Lishan, but this is the first we have had from Alishan.
This is not the easiest tea to brew so cooler water (95c) will be rewarded. For those with a skilled pour however, it is one of the most interesting and rewarding oolongs we have on the site!
**These types of teas are quite rare and we were only able to get about 1000g. If you would like to try it, best not to delay.
