Ever wonder why you don't see very many Camellia Formosensis Oolongs? This tea is a great example of that! Strong, wild and rich flavors will reward those that brave this hard hard to brew tea. Light and skilled brewing hands will be rewarded with stone fruit and fresh leaf litter. Brewed too strong the 'wild' bitterness of these powerful leaves becomes dominant. If you like strong, bitter sheen's this
Made from the same material as the Northern Wild White and Northern Mist Taiwanese Sheng, these seed propagated, forest grown, certified organic, indigenous Taiwanese tea leaves are always unique. They just don't fit into the regular Taiwanese tea paradigm.
**Please keep in mind that this tea is VERY strong and has some dominant bitter notes. If you like strong, bitter shengs you finally have a Taiwanese tea to enjoy! :)**
