Wu Jie is an up and coming tea growing area in the mountains above Puli, Taiwan. Lucky enough to have met the grower of this tea before the area gets too 'famous', we are excited to bring to the international market teas from this unique terroir. This tea is a summer produced black tea with strong deep fruit notes so unique to the rarest of Taiwanese black teas, the High Mountain Black. Rich, dark and ripe the flavor profile of the Qinxin Cultivar once fully oxidized at altitude is not easily forgotten. Usually selling for much more money due to their rarity, this tea is a great introduction to the small but growing list of very high quality Taiwanese Black Teas.
