Conventional Pinglin Baozhong
Grown in a conventional garden in the Pinglin region, this tea is a contrast to many of the other teas we have on the site. It's full, strong, upfront floral vegetal flavors are classically Baozhong, but due to the nature of its conventional farming the aftertaste is lacking. It is a great example of what the local market demands for taste and mouthfeel but is generally not what we look for in a tea.
We acquired a limited amount of this tea this spring and thought we would offer it up to anyone who wanted to understand the local demand for taste and structure. Some may even prefer it!
**This tea is not agrochemical free but it is tested by the New Taipei Government and is tested safe.
