**The authenticity of aged teas is always an issue as there are many bad actors in the space. This tea was purchased from the same place as many of our aged teas, a famous and very respectable company that specializes in Puer and other aged Oolongs. Given thethe source and our own experiences in tasting over 100 aged Oolongs over the years, this tea is as authentic as it gets.
