This sage looking tisanesurprised us first time we tasted it and this spring we took an opportunity to buy some. The guava tree has beautiful silver, fuzzy new growth in the leaves that has been used as a tea by many cultures for centuries. There also seem to be a bunch of benefits to drinking it, but we won't get into that here.
Spicy, smooth, complex guava fruit would best describe the taste of this tisane. And the leaves are very aesthetically pleasing. Another good open for a caffeine free cup of tea before bed!
**Like all our teas, there are no added flavors, colors or chemicals in this tea. All flavors are completely natural and additive-free!**

Place a few sprigs of leaf in your mug and then add hot water. The amounts and timing are up to you but we would recommend 3-5g for 3 minutes to try it out first and then adjust to your liking!
***We are neither here nor there on the tea vs. tisane issue.(Tisane being an infusion of leaves from some other plant than the tea plant and tea being from the tea plant) In Taiwan, the mandarin word for 'tea' is used for everything including herbal teas as long as you add in what the 'tea' is made of. 'Flower tea', or 'Fruit Tea' for example. We will use both interchangeably.
