I'm very green when it comes to writing reviews but wanted to edit this to 5 stars as I've drank more of the tea and it grew on me more. The smell of the tea is very roasty and comforting, quite possibly the best smelling tea I've ever had. The roasted vegetable taste is not overpowering but very tasty, accompanied by those familiar high mountain florals. It works really well with western brewing, lasting 3 cups, and then I cold brew for a much lighter, yet still floral, refreshing drink.
I was afraid of what 'roasted vegetables' might taste like in a tea but it's very pleasant and a mellow tea overall. I prefer to brew western style but tried out gong fu and got pretty much the same experience of mostly roasted veg and some light florals. The smell of the wet leaf and brewed tea is quite nice too.
