We are happy to introduce this unique taster set! Hand-pinched from a heritage variety cultivar named Qin Xin Gan Zhong, these teas are rare, delicate and smooth. All of them are produced from the same small patch of tea trees in the Sanxia area just outside of Taipei. Produced at different times of the year to make white, black and green teas, sampling them together is a fascinating way to see the difference processing makes on tea leaves!
Produced at a partner farm only 20 minutes from downtown Taipei in one of the oldest tea growing areas of Taiwan, these teas are made in the traditional way by a tea master in his 80s and his family. Each leaf is plucked by hand (no finger blades are even used!) and each batch of tea is tiny. This style of tea production is extremely rare and we are happy to support farmers still making tea in this old, delicate style.
