Snow Mist Farm

Three Beautiful Teas

A farm like this one is very, very rare. High elevation, agro-chemical free, regenerative agriculture practices with over 25 years of a proven track record in this regard. We found this garden, and we want to support them and make them more successful.

So, we have decided to run an experiment.

In partnership with the farm we have acquired three of their spring time teas and we will be selling them with full transparency. Our prices match the price of the farm exactly and we are happy to give details of the garden and Tea Master to anyone who wants it.

This garden blew us away as one that has all the characteristics that we long for in tea production. Low impact agrochemical free agriculture, high quality and care of the plants, pristine environment, free low-key mentoring programs for other younger tea makers, pride in their work and tea, happy prosperous workers and on and on. The videos and pictures speak for them selves.

This style of agriculture comes at a higher cost, but we think it is worth it. In what we consume, there is a zero sum game. If we get something for cheap, someone(and something), pays the true hidden costs. This is an experiment for us to see if we can find ways to mitigate the costs of consumption. We have found no losers in the production/consumption of this tea and want to try to make an example of it for the industry.

The Teas:

Black: Rich, sweet and dark fruit. Smooth and soft.

Oolong: Like a high mountain Boazhong. Creamy, floral sweet and flowing. Pine and high mountain air in the aftertaste.

Roast GABA: A bit of an enigma of a tea. Roasty, dark fruit, and sweet the flavors unfolding change with each steep!
